Arvet
Records how work actually gets done inside a company and gives that context to the AI tools its people already use.
Problem
Most of what makes a firm work is never written down: the order someone does a job in, the workarounds, who they ask when it goes wrong. When that person leaves, it leaves with them and the next person starts again.
AI tools have made the gap easier to see. They can read a company's documents, email and databases, but they do not know how that particular company operates, so the answers come out generic.
What I did
Jet Kozarcic and I started Arvet together. Jet is CTO and leads product, engineering and deployments. I lead customer discovery, finance and go-to-market, and I write code on the product alongside him.
- Customer discovery so far has been conversations with CTOs and managers across fintech, engineering and finance, plus the early tests below.
- We applied to Latitude 37 in 2026 and reached the first-round interview.
- I built arvet.app: a static site with GSAP and Lenis, hosted on Vercel.
Decisions
- Start narrow. The first problem we sell is knowledge retention in finance and professional services firms, where expertise is the product. Workflow automation and anything larger come after that, if the first part works.
- Stay model-neutral. The memory should survive a change of AI vendor, so Arvet sits between the employee and whichever model they use.
- Privacy before features. Capture is whitelist-first and on-device first, with explicit permissions.
- Pricing is a plan, not a result. We intend to charge a setup fee and a per-seat subscription, with build and retainer work later. Nobody has paid us yet.
Evidence
- Testing with three design partners across finance, consulting and professional services, who give structured feedback.
- In a one-week run with a single employee, the product captured how they work, served that back to the AI they use, and flagged which of their workflows were worth automating next.
- Reached the first-round interview at Latitude 37.
Not evidence yet: revenue, paying customers, or compliance certification. Those are plans.
